Daylight Saving Time
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware are among the states that must switch to daylight saving time.
This time change is not affected by the government shutdown, as citizens can adjust their clocks without needing approval.
It’s already Fall, which means it’s that time of year when it’s dark by 6:00 p.m.
The Uniform Time Act of 1966 requires this twice-yearly time change, which most Americans would like to abandon, but it remains in place.
