BHS Senior Aiming to Become a Pilot
Maqueria Murray, a senior at Baldwin High, is reaching new heights with her goal of becoming an airplane pilot.
As she nears the end of her school year, Murray's focus is on pursuing a career in aviation, inspired by her favorite class, aviation, where she and her peers learn about unmanned aircraft, or drones, under the guidance of Roberto Hornung-Filho.
He’s teaching us things about aviation that most people don’t know
Murray's dream is to fly a large cargo airplane for United Parcel Service (UPS), and with her excellent academic record and passion for aviation, she is well on her way to achieving her goal.
