EPL: Awoniyi Struggles In Nottingham Forest’s Home Defeat To Chelsea
Taiwo Awoniyi had a below-par display as Nottingham Forest lost 3-0 to Chelsea at the City Ground on Saturday.
It was Awoniyi’s first Premier League appearance of the season for Nottingham Forest. He was replaced by Igor Jesus after the break.
Nottingham Forest dominated the first half but were let down by poor finishing. Chelsea also created chances towards the end of the first half.
The Blues manager, Enzo Maresca, made three substitutions at the start of the second half after watching the game from the stands due to a red card.
Awoniyi’s performance was below-par in the defeat.
