Kraus-Anderson Completes $3.5 Million Renovation of Clover Shopping Center

Kraus-Anderson has completed a $3.5 million renovation of the Clover Shopping Center in Bloomington.

The project, owned by Engelsma Limited Partnership and designed by Tanek, Inc., included 16,000 square feet of exterior finishes, such as new signage, storefronts, and sidewalks.

Construction began in October 2024. The shopping center has also added Salons by JC as its newest tenant, with an 8,123-square-foot salon that opened on September 30.

Kraus-Anderson developed and built Clover Center, Bloomington's first shopping center, in the late 1950s.

The original site was owned by the Oxborough family, who were among the original settlers of Bloomington.
