Assam Rifles seized 90 bags of poppy seeds and 120 bags of areca nuts, worth INR one crore, in Mizoram, according to officials on Monday.

In Aizawl, a defence spokesman stated that the seizure was made possible by specific intelligence, which led to a search operation at Farlui road areas, Ruantlang, in Mizoram's border Champhai district.
