Adding Driver's License to iPhone
Residents of certain U.S. states can add their driver's license or state ID to the Wallet app on their iPhone and Apple Watch.
This feature provides a convenient and contactless way to display proof of identity or age at select airports, businesses, and in select apps.
Availability and Requirements
To use this feature, you need an iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.5 or later, or an Apple Watch Series 4 or later with watchOS 9.5 or later.
However, requirements may vary for specific states and use cases.
Setup Process
To add a driver's license to the Wallet app, open the app, tap the plus sign, select Driver's License and ID Cards, and follow the steps.
