Goofball Sk8boards Closes After Three Years of Serving the KC Skate Community
Goofball Sk8boards, an inclusive skating space, is set to close after serving the community for three years.
Founders Joan and Harper Rose aimed to create a welcoming environment where everyone could feel comfortable and have a good time, regardless of their skating abilities.

Despite its anti-authoritarian nature, the skate scene is often dominated by a macho and cliquey spirit, but Goofball Sk8boards strived to be different.
The doors will shut for good on their skating space, marking the end of an era for the KC skate community.
