G3 Makerspace Hosts Weaving and Laser Engraver Workshops
The University of Guam's Green Growth Circular Economy Makerspace and Innovation Hub is wrapping up October with two hands-on workshops that blend tradition and technology.
- On October 23, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., a fiber laser engraver workshop will introduce participants to high-tech engraving used in design, manufacturing, and custom production.
- On October 30, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., the Finanåguen Tinifok Katupat Weaving Workshop will be led by CHamoru Weaver Martha Tenorio, teaching the traditional art of weaving katupat from coconut leaves.
