Disney+'s churn rate increased from 4% to 8%, while Hulu's climbed from 5% to 10% in September.
According to Antenna, Disney+ had 2.18 million sign-ups, while Hulu had 2.1 million sign-ups. However, the monthly churn rate jumped significantly.
An Antenna spokesperson reported estimated cancellation volumes of 3 million for Disney+ and 4.1 million for Hulu, compared to the previous three-month averages.
Consumers threatened to boycott the streaming services following the temporary suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
