A Denver construction company, Frontline Construction, has alleged that its former senior project executive, Joe Larsen, stole $167,000 through a "deliberate, calculated scheme of fraud, theft and deception".
According to the company, Larsen used counterfeit documentation, concealed personal transactions, and misused the company's corporate credit card to carry out the fraud, which began on his fourth day on the job.
Frontline Construction claims that Larsen bought guns with many of the ill-gotten gains and is asking the court to bar him from selling these items while the lawsuit is ongoing.
Larsen did not respond to requests for comment.
